     I do everything from traditional script consulting and career coaching to special projects ranging from business plan consulting, developing one-sheets for film markets, getting butts in the seats for theater runs, developing strategic marketing plans for screenplays or actors, helping to plan – and fill – a calendar for out-ot-towners or new to the area people wanting to make the most of their time here, to analyzing an entire inventory of projects to determine which might be the most marketable in the current industry climate, and so on. Prices vary, but typically, I charge about $495 as a flat fee per project so neither of us has to watch the clock or worry about running up the bill due to too many e-mails or phone conversations.

My friends and family and professional associates long ago convinced me that what I thought was common sense was a finely honed skill set I possessed, uniquely tailored to launching projects and people, discovering niches and trends, persuading individuals and rallying communities – and funding it all. While I have been nagged incessantly to find the time to write this book, and I am teaching classes as fast as I can get on the planes - my travels have revealed that many people’s wants and needs far exceeds the confines of a classroom and that I could really assist them tremendously just by sitting down with them for an hour or two, brainstorming, asking the right questions, helping them to see the opportunities on their own landscape, so I have implemented PowerNetworking: Private Consulting and have successful clients in a myriad of special circumstances including: launching a one-woman show, getting your first (or next) industry job, filling a venue for an event, selling your spec screenplay or securing attachments or representation, etc.

Screenwriting Consultations $495

I read the script once for initial impressions and a second time to do extensive line notes (either handwritten on the hard copy or typed in an electronic file if sent via e-mail as a Final Draft, Microsoft Word, or Rich Text Format file - .fdr, .fdt, .doc, or .rtf, respectively. Consults are conducted in person when possible (in LA-area coffee houses or restaurants or during my travels if I’m in your area to teach or speak). We can also conduct the consult on the phone.

I’m open to reasonable follow-up calls and e-mails and will critique the rewrite (within three months) for half price.

I usually offer some marketing strategies (potential hit list ideas for A-list actors or Prod Co’s to target, films to study, better title ideas, etc.).

Screenplay Marketing Consultations $195

Marketing strategies exclusively (no script analysis).
